Big changes!

Dear PLNOG members,

You have already been with us for 15 years, and over the years there have been as many as 30 editions. You showed up at each of them in large numbers. As a Proidea company, we have tried to meet your expectations every time to ensure that PLNOG provides you with valuable content and inspiring discussions. Recently, we have seen quite a bit of change in the telco industry and in the broader IT field as a whole. Our organization is very aware of the dynamically changing world of technology. We constantly monitor the market to tailor our events to the expectations and needs of participants. We want to respond even better to the current needs of the market, so we decided that the PLNOG conference will be held once a year. 

We make this decision, why, that many of the topics covered at PLNOG are already discussed at our other conferences. We organize, among other things. Confidence(https://confidence-conference.org/) and OhMyHack(https://omhconf.pl/), which cover security and networking topics, we also create conferences focusing on DevOps methodologies, or HackYeah(http://hackyeah.pl), where participants struggle with tasks dedicated to loT. A lot of IT discussions and events focus on Layer 7 and above. In addition, there will be discussions in the areas of Web 3.0/4.0/5.0, NoCode/LoCode topics, or topics related to artificial intelligence, which we will cover at events held in the second semester. 

We would like to thank everyone who has helped us with PLNOG so far, and we are certainly not suspending our work. We are planning even more other worthwhile events and hackathons. We are changing the schedule of topics and believe that we will meet at other Proidea events. If the need to organize two editions of PLNOG in a year ever arises again, we will certainly return to it. We hope that this information will not negatively affect your plans. We hope to see you at PLNOG in May.
