PLNOG was initiated by PROIDEA Foundation for Supporting IT Education. The project was the reaction for conversations with local ISP market, that expressed the need of setting new standards of cooperation between telecom companies in Poland. PLNOG main goals are:
- supporting the cooperation between network operators
- enable sharing the knowledge and experience of telecom and IT companies
- network education
PLNOG tries to accomplish its goals by organizing workshops and conferences.
All network operators are welcome to join the initiative for free.
