TBD He has been involved in projects concerning networks since 2000. His main interest is designing and maintaining Internet Exchanging Points. He created WIX (Warsaw Internet eXchange). Since 2006 he has been building and maintaining PLIX (Polish Internet eXchange) – the biggest, independent Internet eXchange point.
He first started working with networks in 1995 (one of the first ISP:PDi), between 2000-2006 he was responsible for building and maintaining IP framework in ASTER network. Since 2006 dedicated entirely to peering and PLIX. He is PLIX representative at Euro-IX, European Peering Forum and KIKE. Consultant for many Polish operators, especially when it comes to BGP and gateways with different networks.
Abstract: Presentation will discuss the steps required to start the PLIX node anywhere, for example in Katowice. In addition, there will be new ideas where in Poland from the perspective of an ISP provider can network devices can be colocated in order to ensure a safe and cheap interconnectivity with other operators and purchase cheap national transmission and international.
