Piotr Marecki between 2003 and 2007 worked as an IP Network Specialist in R&D in Netia S.A. He was responsible for implementation of IP/MPLS network and MPLS/L3VPN services. Since 2007 he has been working as a Network Engineer in Google Inc. (first in Dublin, Ireland and later in Mountain View in USA) in the department of backbone network. He was involved in creating IPv6 in the network layer.
Abstract: Piotr will present IPv6 topic and its use in google. During the lecture, problem of the implementation of IPv6 will be described and what it means for everyone, what are precautions? Then he will tell what has been done instead of AAAA to www.google.com. Presentation outlines how the connection of IPv6 to google.com works, what is the hstory of operation and what are the problems. Peter will describe the experience with the implementation of IPv6, the dates and the history of implementation, design, architecture, standards, vendor-specific issues (licenses, etc.).. At the end of presentation statistics will be presented
