Abstract: Essential component of modern systems are web-based HTTP accelerators, among which Varnish is one of the most advanced solutions; It is becoming increasingly popular among content providers, but relatively few users can fully exploit its potential. During the presentation Varnish functionality will be presented, best practice implementation, maintainability and a few little known optimization tricks – all supported by “life” examples from popular Web sites.
