Abstract: There is more than one way to do it. But the easy way might not always the best. When it comes to IPv6 there are several different methods for assigning addresses: static configuration, Stateless Auto Configuration (SLAC),DHCP, DHCP-PD. This talk will show how the different methods work and which works best for different environments. It will also show why the easy way is not always the best way and why it may lead to some very dissatisfied Customers.
