Topic of Presentation: Use of NG-MVPN technology for country-wide IPTV service delivery

Emil Gagala – network consultant. Since 2006 Emil has been working as Senior Systems Engineer in Polish entity of Juniper Networks. He is responsible for network solutions for mobile, cable and alternative Service Providers. In 2000 he started work in Ericsson Poland in the Network Solution team where he took active role in design and implementation of first IP/MPLS networks in Poland. He participated in projects in area of backbone, peering, fixed and mobile broadband access and network security. Emil holds JNCIE certificate.

Abstract: This talk describes protocols used for signaling in NG-MVPN, sequence of event in the network during DISCOVERY phase and delivery tree construction phase. Basing on this background, detail description of design implemented in one of European carriers will be given, including all explanation of all design decisions.
