Robert Raszuk is Principal Engineer of IOS Routing Development Team in Cisco Systems.

Previously he was part of Juniper Routing Protocol Engineering team which he has joined in Jan 2007 as Dist. Eng after spending 10 years in Cisco System’s Routing Protocols Deployment and Architecture group.

He originally joined Cisco in summer of 1997 where he became part of CA NSA team dedicated to provide consultations and design for the largest Cisco’s customers. His customers included MCI & ATT networks. In 1999 he moved to IOS engineering where he was part of LSSR team then moved to MPLS development. After Procket’s acquisition he spend a great deal of time in IOS-XR team co-designing components like L3VPNs or BGP fast convergence.

He is author & co-author of over 30 patents & number of ietf drafts as well as RFCs. His focus has been during last years concentrated on large scale routing (mainly BGP), MPLS and it’s applications. He has over 14 years experience in the computer networking industry and number of very good relations with many key world wide service providers. His main role in Cisco IOS team is to provide a very close liaison between key customers and routing engineering team, to work with customer and other vendors in IETF as well as to communicate IOS enhancements to customers.

Abstract 1: Prezentacja omawia aktualną sytuacje w zakresie ogłaszania wiecej niż pojedyńcza ścieżkę poprzez BGP. Podczas prezentacji zostanie przedstawiona analiza rozwiązań pozwalających ogłaszać dodtakowe ścieżki. Podstawowe aplikacje, które wykorzystują te informacje.

Abstract 2: Dyskusja nad sposobem odseparawania różnych aplikacji rozgłaszanych poprzez BGP. Prezentacja zarówno sugerowanej separacji poprzez niezależne dwa procesy BGP jak rowniez dynamicznie kreowane instancje wg sugestii z multisession-04.
