Klaudiusz Staniek is a Network Consulting Engineer in Cisco Systems. For two years he has been working in World Wide Service Provider (WWSP) NGN Solution Practice Team, that focuses on designing and implementing NGN networks in network operators. He is responsible for EMEA region and was involved in projects for Vodafone (Egypt), Slovak Telecom (Slovakia), Telefonica 02 (Czech Republic), Lattelecom (Latvia), ERA (Poland), Magticom (Georgia) and lately Telstra (Australia) i Turkcell (Turkey).He works with networks since 1996, when he started with WAN project for Bank Slaski (Poland). Hi early experience led to to becoming Cisco Certified Internetwork Expert (CCIE #4294). He is especially interested in Carrier Ethernet networks and IP MPLS. In his free time plays on bongo and dives.
Abstract: This session shows current status of AS 2- and 4-bites numbers allocation,most needed changes in BGP protocol and implementation on devices. Klaudiusz will also discuss the integration of new systems with the ones that were being used before, the migration issues and the coexistence of two ASN coding systems.
