Andrew Haynes is Director of Product Management for Level 3 in Europe.

Andrew joined Level 3 in July 2007, initially in the Strategy and Corporate Development team where he worked extensively on Level 3’s entrance in to the CDN market in Europe. In July 2008, he moved to the Product Management team where he is now responsible for Level 3’s High Speed Internet Protocol (HSIP) product in EMEA.

,p>Before joining Level 3, Andrew worked in the legal process outsourcing industry, and before that, Investment Banking. Andrew has a BSc in Physics from Imperial College London and an MRes from University College London.

He is based in the London office.

Abstract: As video and other application usage grows, ISPs are struggling to upgrade their networks to handle increased data flows. This is often in an environment where the cost of upgrades cannot be passed on to subscribers. Andrew Haynes will look at the upcoming content tsunami and the strategies many ISPs are implementing to try to manage those costs. He will suggest a number of ways that would better position the ISPs to manage the changes to come.
