Marcin Szreter – consultant at Cisco Systems Poland. Involved in networking since 2000. Since 2004 supporting Service Providers in Poland for access and aggregation projects. Focuses on IP/MPLS, IP video and fiber access technologies. Promotes ethernet technologies for access and aggreagtion networks. Since 2002 holds Cisco Certified Internetwork Expert (CCIE) certification.

Abstract: The purpose of this presentation is to provide information on available access network architectures with particular focus on Fiber to The Home (FTTH) technologies. Focus of the presentation will be on scalability, security and future development ideas for access networks.
