Topic of Presentation: Loadbalancing of HTTP Traffic in Content Providers Networks Based on nasza- klasa.pl Experience.

Tomasz Paszkowski He works in nasza-klasa.pl as an IT Infrastructure Architect. His basic tasks are: designing, implementing and supervising the usage of infrastructure elements – from single servers and storage solutions to solutions dedicated to operating Internet connectivity and diffusing HTTP traffic.

Abstract: During the lecture Tomasz will present the model of current solution implemented in nasza-klasa.pl. The solution successfully manages more than 5Gbit/s and 80k new HTTP connections in rush hours. It is a combination of commercial solutions and open source solutions hosted on x86 platform. During his presentation Tomasz will also talk about interesting experiences gained during tests of commercial products created to diffuse HTTP traffic. The lecture was created for both, content providers and operators and they should all find something interesting in it.
