Przemyslaw Jaroszewski – joined Research and Academic Computer Network (NASK) in 2000. Since 2001, a member of CERT Polska – the very first computer security incident response team in Poland. His responsibilities include incident handling management, preparing and delivering trainings on incident response and network security.
The abuse-forum started in 2005 as an initiative of CERT Polska towards exchange of thoughts and experience between Polish ISPs and specifically among people responsible for handling abuse complaints and security incidents. It is also a perfect platform for social networking, which proves to be a great value when some actions – sometimes urgent and unusual – are required from different providers in order to mitigate a security threat. Later on, the forum was extended with content and service providers. Some security-related and operational projects were based on cooperation of abuse-forum participants. The presentation will describe some of them, along with the history of the forum itself.
