Let me use the email I got from one of PLNOG Committee Members, Lukasz Bromirski, and describe the three tracks we will have at PLNOG3.

• Architecture and technology – session focuses on network solutions, their future, standardization efforts etc. One of the examples of topics that can be presented during this session is „Traffic engineering in MPLS networks – available mechanisms and deployment considerations”.
• Implementations and best practices – we are aiming for very practical presentations here. We want to present real implementations of products and technologies in the network that the speaker manages himself. A good example of the presentation in this session is “Our implementation of 10GE. What went wrong, what went smooth”.
• Content delivery and systems’ scalability – a place to exchange experience gained while constructing in mixed network and applications environments: portals, data processing centers etc. The topic “How to build social networking portal in Poland – examples”, would be perfect for this track.

We would like to encourage you to answer PLNOG Call for Papers for the main tracks, as well as the discussion panel. The idea behind the panel will be basically the same as at PLNOG1 and 2.

We know from the discussions at the conference, that you have lots of valuable and practical knowledge to share – use it and become a part of PLNOG schedule!

All abstracts we will get will be evaluated by the PLNOG Committee, to give them time to do that, you should send your presentation no later than the 10th June, 2009. After this date we will announce the list of speakers and the conference schedule.

The mails with presentations should be sent to andrzej.targosz {%} proidea.org.pl with the annotation in the tittle “PLNOG3”.

We also encourage hardware and software producers and all the authors of innovative solutions to prepare interesting, technical presentations. However, we inform that we only accept high-quality, non-marketing talks. We will not let in any lectures about specific products or solutions of the company to be presented at PLNOG. Every time the product or the solution is mentioned, it has to be justified by being the example of implementation or problem solving strategy.
